The person behind the p-values

Alen Delić

I'm Alen — a biostatistician and data scientist based in Salt Lake City, UT. With a Master's in Biostatistics from the University of Utah and 7+ years of independent consulting experience, I help clinicians and research teams navigate everything from study design to publication-ready analysis.

I've contributed to work published in JAMA Network Open, Neurology, Stroke, and more — and I've delivered invited lectures at Yale University and University of Utah Departments of Neurology since 2021.

Currently, I also lead the Health Data Science Training Program under NIH's AIM-AHEAD initiative, mentoring the next generation of researchers in R, Python, and clinical data science.

Outside the office: avid skier and golfer, currently learning the ukulele 🤙

Statistical Analysis

Regression, survival analysis, mixed models, propensity scores, causal inference, and more — tailored to your research question and data structure.

Data Management & CDISC

CDISC-compliant data pipelines, reproducible workflows, and regulatory-ready datasets to support grant submissions and FDA filings.

Machine Learning & AI

Predictive modeling, time series, NLP, and ML pipelines on clinical and real-world data using Python and R, with production-ready deployment.

Manuscript & Grant Support

Statistical methods sections, results write-ups, tables and figures, and peer review response support for journals and federal grant agencies.

Education & Training
